30 Day Challenges

Home About Us Professional Learning 30 Day Challenges

A 30-Day Challenge is a commitment to implement a group learning routine daily to increase the habit of inclusive teaching practices.  The group learning routine may be implemented at any time during lessons, but must be implemented at least once per day every day for 20 days to complete the challenge.  Each week an element of self-regulation is added to the group learning routine designed to increase student engagement, reflection, and understanding.  Teachers learn how to tailor inclusive directions to ensure access and rigor for all students.  In addition, teachers use student responses to tailor instruction to better suit student learning needs in the moment on their feet during lessons. The good news, is that these inclusive practices do not require adding new activities to lessons, rather teachers will tweak practices that are already in place with small shifts that increase equity, engagement, and understanding for all learners every day in every lesson.
